It all started with a phone and a soundsystem. One day, I was upstairs with my grandfather in his office. Smartphones were brand new and “apps” were on the horizon. My grandmother was downstairs making poffertjes and listening to music. You should try poffertjes by the way, it’s a delicious dutch delicacy.
My grandfather wanted to show me something, so he took his phone and openend a music player. He pressed the pause buttons and the music downstairs stopped playing. The moment he pressed play again, the music resumed. I was blown away, it was like magic to me...
Since that moment, I was in love with technology. Even to this day, I never forgot this moment. My goal is to create those experiences, to design interfaces & digital solutions user won't forget.
